Bunny Beans is a Girl Scout Silver Award project created by Cadette members of Troop 36774 to support the West View Urban Farm. The project will help the Farm welcome rabbits whose manure will be used as a sustainable, low-cost, and eco-friendly fertilizer. The Scouts are providing a budget, educational resources, and volunteer training so the whole community can learn about rabbit care and the benefits of natural fertilizer. About the Scouts

We are Echo, Lily, and Katt, Cadette members of Girl Scout Troop 36774 and the team behind Bunny Beans. This is our Silver Award project—the highest award a Cadette can earn—which challenges us to identify a community issue, research its causes, and create a sustainable solution that makes lasting change. As animal lovers, friends of the West View Urban Farm, and advocates for the environment, we’re excited to help the Farm welcome rabbits whose manure will serve as natural fertilizer. Together, we’ll each dedicate more than 50 hours to building a project that supports both the farm and our community.
